If you're looking to lease a Mercedes, you'll want to see the models we have available. The Mercedes range is as comprehensive as it is impressive; each car represents the pinnacle of engineering and class. Below you can find an introduction to the Mercedes cars we have available to lease at Vantage, and you can click through to the pages of each model to further whet your whistle.
A-Class: a compact hatchback first introduced in 1997, and currently on its third generation. Considered the 'entry level' Mercedes Benz, this car combines the elegance and sophistication you'd expect from the brand with the practicality you need for urban driving.
The original tall yet short body was considered unusual for Mercedes when it first launched, but its 'Sandwich' safety system was considered innovative. The current generation has a completely different design, incorporating a sportier vibe in line with other Mercedes models, while still qualifying as a small family car.
AMG GT: A 2-door, 2-seat GT coupé that immediately catches the eye with its sleek design and powerful appearance. Since being unveiled in October 2014 the car has attracted much praise, and with good reason: it can do 0-60mph in 3.9s, reach a top speed of 202mph, and is hiding 460hp under the bonnet.
B-Class: described by Mercedes as a 'Compact Sports Tourer', the B-Class is for all intents and purposes a larger A-Class. It has the same engines (although more powerful ones are available) and is targeted to families. The car is on its second generation, which mainly consists of a few aesthetic changes and performance tweaks from the first.
C-Class: A compact executive car, capturing the slick aesthetics you'd expect from a Mercedes. Currently on its fourth generation, the C-Class has had an illustrious history and continues to be a popular choice among Mercedes drivers. One of our most popular Mercedes leases.
CLA-Class: Described as Mercedes' "best launch in 20 years", the CLA-Class immediately established itself as a great car, and with good reason. In 2015 a 'Shooting Brake' version was released - a name referring to the shape of the car, which is a station wagon variant of the original.
CLS-Class: Launched in 2004, the CLS taps into the nostalgia for the W124 E-Class Coupé which was discontinued in 1995.The car is an executive-size coupé and is positioned between the E-Class and S-Class in the Mercedes range. It is also available in a Shooting Brake variant.
E-Class: the 'E' once stood for 'Einspritzmotor' (fuel injection engine), although now all Mercedes use fuel injection engines so the distinction is no longer necessary. The E-Class is now a popular executive car, having sold over 13 million.
GL-Class: the G in G-Class vehicles is short for Geländewagen, German for 'cross country vehicle'. The G-Class was originally a military vehicle, but has since been released as a civilian model under many variations including the GLA, GLC and GLE. See below for information on each of these.
GLA-Class: The GLA is the the SUV equivalent of the A-Class in the Mercedes hierarchy. Introduced as a concept in 2013 and entering production in 2014, the GLA-Class has performed well against other cars in the segment.
The car was accompanied by an advertising campaign featuring video game character Mario, and is available to drive in Mario Kart 8!
GLC-Class: As with the GLA-Class being on par with the A-Class, the GLC-Class is the C-Class' equivalent. It is a five-door, five-seat hatchback that has been received well after Mercedes late entry to the SUV market.
GLE-Class: The GLE-Class is a facelifted version of the M-Class, a name which has been retired to bring the model in line with Mercedes' wider SUV naming system. The model is positioned between the GLC and GLS-Classes (the same relationship as the E-Class to the C and S-Classes).
S-Class:Described as Mercedes' flagship brand, the various versions of the S-Class (formerly the Sonderklasse (special class)) have been at the top of the Mercedes ladder for over fifty years. It is the world's best selling luxury sedan: iconic, elegant, and a pleasure to drive.
SL-Class: SL stands for Sportlich-Leicht (sport lightweight) and is a classification that has been used by Mercedes for various models since 1954. The 2001 relaunch - fifth generation - was the first time SL was used as a suffix, effectively introducing the SL-Class we know today.
SLK-Class: A Cabriolet / Roadster, the SLK is a sight to behold. A range of modern and impressive features mean this car is, as described by Mercedes, "not just a joy to drive, it's a joy to simply sit in".
V-Class: The V-Class (or Viano) is the passenger-capable sister of the Mercedes Vito van. The current generation was introduced in 2014 to replace the R-Class, and has been received well. An ideal Mercedes lease for large families or people who will be transporting a lot of passengers!

In fact, Mercedes have been around since cars first came into existence and since then have established themselves as a premium front running brand, alongside Audi and BMW.

Before you decide whether a Mercedes lease is right for you, have a read through the information on this page which details the brand’s history, the current range of models we have available to lease, and information on driving experience and Mercedes’ design.
Mercedes-Benz’s illustrious history began with Karla and Bertha Benz, the husband and wife business team who, respectively, designed and financed the what is widely acknowledged to be the world’s first auto-mobile powered by gasoline.
The patent for this vehicle was filed in 1886 and Bertha became the first person to drive an auto-mobile for a long distance. People were amazed at the technology and the rest, you could very accurately say, is history. These are impressive accolades to have behind your brand, we’re sure you’ll agree!
Their new vehicle was marketed for the first time in 1901, by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (Daimler Motors Corporation). When Karl Benz’s company merged with Gottlieb Daimler’s, the Daimler-Benz company was formed. Mercedes remains today a division of the Daimler company.
Mercedes’ motto, The Best Or Nothing, underpins all of the company’s efforts: the brand that has represented quality and luxury ever since. The engineering behind all models they’ve created in their history reflects the pioneering spirit that led to the creation of the brand in the first place.
A cornerstone in the corporate car park and the vehicle of choice for several Popes, Mercedes signifies distinction in any demographic. Deciding to lease a Mercedes could see you driving a car in the same league as these big hitters!
There is variation in driving experience across the range: the A-Class will offer a comfortable, safe and reassuring drive in urban environments with reasonable consumption and emissions, but it doesn’t have the capacity to take you to 200+ mph. The AMG GT on the other hand, can happily perform this task (in legal settings, obviously!). The breadth of the range means that every driving style is reflected somewhere, whether your priority is urban on-road or technical off-road.
What doesn’t vary though, is the imagery that Mercedes cars conjure up: cars that are solid, reliable, attractive, comfortable, powerful, pleasurable to drive. These are cars which have been developed for over a century – each model is the culmination of world class engineering and years of development, tweaking, and feedback.
If you’re thinking of leasing a Mercedes in the UK, we’re sure you won’t be disappointed by the driving experience.
Mercedes is head-quartered in Stuttgart, Germany, and has factories all over the world building its various models. The Mercedes Grand Prix factory is based in the UK, as is the Mercedes-Benz High Performance Engines, where formula one engines are built. Other models are assembled all over the world: Vietnam assembles E-Class, C-Class, S-Class, GLK-Class and Sprinter, buses are assembled in Colombia, and the A-Series is manufactured in Finland, to name but a few.
Mercedes is a truly global brand that has grown impressively to be universally renowned since its launch over a hundred years ago.
