We’re big fans of the Range Rover Evoque here at Vantage, so the news that Land Rover are planning to release a convertible version of the car has got us quite excited!
You can check it out here:
To summarise some of the features:
The roof folds flush in just 18 seconds and can be folded away at speeds up to 48kmph
The 4 seat interior has slick minimalist design and a Ski-hatch on the back seat offers flexibility in storage:
Diesel and petrol engines are available, with specifications visible below:
The car comes with optional full LED headlights
All Terrain Progress Control allows the car to pull away smoothly on all surfaces, and allows you to set and maintain constant speed between 1.8 and 30kmph
You can drive through water up to 50cm deep
Active Driveline functionality can switch automatically between 2 and 4 wheel drive in 300ms depending on the terrain
You can tow up to 1500kg
The convertible includes InControl Touch Pro, a touch-controlled customisable entertainment system. The InControl Connect Pro is also available – an app allowing you to check your car’s status from afar, send routes to the navigation system, check fuel levels, and more.
Includes Guidance – Land Rover’s navigation system
Customisable mood lighting allows you to set the tone of your drive:
Laser-projected heads up display (HUD) projects speed, gear and navigation information onto the windscreen for easy visibility
Adaptive cruise control monitors traffic in front and alters speed accordingly
Rollover protection in the form of two aluminium bars which deploy if the vehicle rolls over, to protect the occupants
Lane departure technology vibrates the steering wheel if you drift out of lane and will keep you in lane if you begin drifting without indicating
Some pretty slick features, we think you’ll agree!
